Environment:

It can be the cause of any anxiety disorder, especially if it is intense in a way or another and especially if the person exposed to it is in young age. This is mainly because of the changes happening in brain structure responding to the stimuli.

Traumatic Events:

They can with a great percentage cause different types of anxiety disorders, but most commonly the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Being a Female:

The fact that amygdala -the brain part responsible about fear- in females’ brain is more sensitive to negative stimuli than it is in males’ brains suggests that likelihood that women are about two times probable to be diagnosed with an anxiety disorder than men are.

Anxiety Disease Treatments and Help:

Acknowledging that the cause of anxiety disorders is not a single factor rather a combination of biological and environmental, treatments are also a collection of psychotherapy and medications.

Cognitive therapy and exposure therapy challenge the patients’ thoughts and control their fears. Support groups are also a way to lessen their stress. But with that in mind, antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, and beta blockers are prescribed by a physician to decrease the symptoms of the disease, like restlessness and the sleep problems.
Now, whether you are diagnosed with an anxiety disorder or you just face normal anxious moments from time to time, you can manage your stress level through managing your diet, exercising, having better sleep, and decreasing the amount of caffeine you consume.

The reason you should to know about anxiety disorders is to be aware. Don’t overestimate your anxieties with depression and don’t underestimate it if you have the disorder.
